every time i read journal entries, post descriptions, and just little musings from my long-time idol Jin (aka behindinfinity on deviantart), i never fail to be inspired by his work, thoughts and words.
he's someone who i look up to, because he's doing what he loves, with the people that he loves, and having a helluva time doing it!
imagine being a freelance artist cum designer, and also being a famous cosplayer (which is what he is most known for), being invited to do photoshoots and attend conventions, give talks, hold workshops all over the world! and helping to promote an (otaku's) accessories store run by your group of friends. while also doing photography and capturing shots of everyday life (and more), and being so good at writing hilarious posts and descriptions, and also words of inspiration to the thousands of followers you have on various channels.
reading what he writes and taking a look at his work, what he's been up to has such magical effects on me, as if everything is somehow going to work out fine, and life is going to be good in the end. like it's going to be an adventure which i will cherish, have ups (and downs), and many fond memories along the way, with the people i love.
it's amazing how our good Lord gives us human sources of inspiration to remind us that yes, this is humanly possible. you can enjoy and embrace the life that He has given you. :)
if growing up means giving up on our dreams and hopes, i kinda don't really wanna grow up anymore.
maybe i never did. ^_^
