yesterday, i still felt like i was a blue alien in a sea of beige and white. today, i'm starting to feel a little as if i may fit in here. wet and crazy games really work wonders. :)
the mornings were full of academic talks. it was pretty hard to pay attention by the time the teachers got to the 5th or 6th talk. but, the afternoons were worth the wait! XD we've been playing stupid games like the pocky game (yesterday) and the swoosh, cups and slide games (today).
i love my OG! OG 10 ROOOOCCCKKS. whoo hooo! the girls are really sweet, friendly and fun while the guys, though a bit shy and quiet yesterday, are actually quite funny, friendly and super XIAO. XD it's fun watching them fight to win games. X)
the mass dances were really fun. simple and easy to follow. it's just the partner dances that are tricky. XP MAN why do i have to get such TALL partners? huh? HUH?! i can't really reach them sometimes. XD and the games kept requiring us to partner people of the opposite gender, which appalled my mum. she insisted that the guys would take advantage. XD she was a little surprised when i just sat there and laughed and laughed. XP
still, there's still a certain emptiness at the table, even when it was crammed packed today during lunch. it's strange not to see the usual gigantic group of people squishing at the table, but just to see nic, kim, fifi and vanessa. the usual clique is almost gone, but our friendship remains, right? i hope. :)
i've been missing SC since day 1. and today, the rest of the SC girls began to realise what graduating from there and being in a mixed school means. it means:
-no changing directly from uniform to PE without using the toilet
-no changing in the toilets when you're out of the cubicles (what if someone opens the door?)
-no changing anywhere, actually. besides the toilet. so no locking yourself in rooms and changing. because there'll probably be guys there. i'm so used to saying, "never mind, we're all girls!" i really need to get used to that. :P
-no/reduced exchanging of certain gossips/rumours especially those that concern the guys. for some strange reason, the news spreads just as fast, if not faster, when a guy gets word of it.
XD no, this is not male dissing session. it's just somethings we have to get used to when switching from an all girls sheltered haven to....a mixed school. ^-^ i guess we'll have to cope with it.
i'm still missing all of you loads, though.
