reflections

so prom came and went. that's several hundred dollars gone POOF in one single night for many of us. already the tickets cost us close to a hundred, plus our dresses/blazers/shirts, accessories, shoes, HAIR, makeup...
that amounted to around 200+ for me.

still, it was a really fun night. :D i managed to take photos with almost all of my closest friends in hwachong, so i'm quite happy. :) and i was one of the first to upload all of the more decent shots (minus the R-rated casey&glenn shot) onto FACEBOOK. the server was somewhat jammed, because everyone was uploading pictures too, i think. :x

everyone looked gorgeous that night. i felt that what everyone wore really suited them. :) maybe that's why they all looked so good.

i found this year's prom even more fun that SC prom. :x i laughed so much, the most i've laughed in a really long time.

*end of flashback*

okay, back to the present.
yesterday, i popped over to the MAD chalet for a short while, watched some psycho-pseudo-horror-thriller thing and rushed off to O school recital with suu, tacky and willy. tacky told us the ending of the psycho-pseudohorror-thriller thing and it was so depressing. :c

me: so in the end, the good guys all die?
tacky: yeah, the good guys all lose and die. the bad guy wins.
me: ...HUHHHH. *wails*
suu: so depressing.
wil: yah lor, damn sad.
me: WAHHHHH. I'M SO DEPRESSED NOW.
...I NEED TO WATCH SPONGEBOB TO CHEER MYSELF UP. NOW. :C
suu: O_o

i shant tell you the name of the show so that i won't spoiler those of you who haven't watched it. :P

but luckily, i didn't need spongebob last night, because i had the O SCHOOL RECITAL. which was pretty awesome, ESPECIALLY THE INSTRUCTORS ITEM. *DOPEEEEE*
gin, my respect for you has shot up EVEN HIGHER THAN IT ALREADY WAS. *fangirls*

my 2nd favourite part of the show was this freestyle battle where 4 people (2 girls 2 guys) were dragged up on stage to battle each other.
THE GIRLS WERE SO DOPE.
(and the guys totally got owned. BURNT beyond recognition to a crisp.)

wow. that's what battling is, man. i was so inspired by them.
i also realise that i have to become a lot braver if i want to battle like them. :x

i also need a hell lot more dance vocabulary.

fangirling aside,
today, i'm going back to the chalet, after making a trip to school and to studiowu. hope it'll be fun. :)
