i wrote this song while out at orchard with my mum. ^_^ something abt it made me want to post it here.

Stay In Your Hearts

They say friends will always come and go
Old ones simply fade away
But I thought I used to know
That our friendships were to stay

Yet I feel that we have drifted apart
Me and the rest of you
I miss the times we used to spend
Together as best friends

Now you'd rather spend our time
With people you all got to know
People you met out of God's own will
People I don't know still

You don't wanna waste your time with me
Even though you used to like it
Hurried words like, "I have to go,"
But no more, "See you tomorrow,"

I understand they now mean more
I wasn't meant to stay forever
In your hearts
I know I don't deserve that

But in case you choose to change your minds
I'll be waiting here for you
Waiting for you to come back home
And relive those days we've missed when I was left alone
